i was asked if i could post my avatar. the photo is from january of 2011 when i was living in bedstuy. i collaborated often with an amazing photographer, trevor wilson. he still holds the reign for personal favorite :) we shot around my house all natural. no makeup, naked or simply clothed, etc. at the time, i wanted to publish a book of my poetry and i wanted this photo to be under my bio on the back page.
